I can't seem to use EASYPHOTO PRINT from CANON.

Hello.
I want to print photos and for that, I downloaded the driver for my CANON PIXMA MP450 printer, then installed the EASY PHOTO PRINT software.
When I try to open the software, a message appears:
"Impossible to print because a printer supported by this software is not installed."
Please let me know what I can do...

Thank you very much, but I'm not very knowledgeable and I need things to be explained to me...
Jimpix, what driver do you want me to install?
Vaatoo, I have already printed photos directly from my camera, but there aren't many formats! That's why I wanted to use software like [EASY Photo Print, which I already knew about since I had it on my previous computer...

    Hello,

The driver and Easy Photo Print are two different files.
    You need to install both.

    Hello,
I think at worst you can skip this software, just take the photos from your camera, put them on your computer in a folder that's not on your CANON and right-click then print.

Yes, but can't you transfer the photos from your CANON to your computer?

You ask what you can do, if it were me, I would work around the problem, I wouldn't want to buy a printer supported by the software just for that :/

    Thank you Jimpix.
I couldn't use the link you gave me because my operating system is Windows 8 and it's not on the provided list. I went back to the CANON site to reinstall the program, making sure to check the type of my printer and the operating system... At startup, the same message appears again...

Thank you very much Jimpix, but I have already downloaded and installed this program a good ten times and I keep getting the same message...
Let's drop it for today, I printed the photos I needed using the good old method... Too bad... Thanks anyway!

My printer was working well under Windows 10 except with this software; I had the same message "Printing impossible..." following the upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10.

I searched quite a bit and finally resolved the issue by changing the printer driver as follows:

right-click on the printer -> printer properties -> Advanced -> I chose the "Canon PIXMA iP4000" driver instead of "Canon Inkjet PIXMA iP4000R".

One of the two drivers must be the one from Canon and the other one provided by Windows 10. (I had tried several times to install the printer with the Canon driver; I believe the last installation was done automatically, and I'm not sure if it was with the driver provided by Windows 10).

    Hoping this helps other users.
