Hi-fi system won't turn off

Hello,

I have a small JVC hi-fi system that is now a few years old and that, for about a year, has not been able to turn off. This is quite annoying, especially at night, because the LCD display stays on and the text keeps flashing.
So, to turn it off, I have to unplug it, which is obviously not very practical.

Do you know why this is happening and possibly how to fix the problem?

    Hi,

    "the LCD display stays on and the text is flashing continuously" is simply because you haven't set the time.

    A stereo system doesn't turn off, but stays in standby mode, the display remains on and shows the time; to completely turn off a stereo system, you need to unplug it.
