My Hi-Fi system turns off by itself.

Hello,

I have a Sony Hi-Fi system that turns off a few minutes after I turn it on. I turn it back on, it starts up and then turns off by itself again each time.

Configuration: Windows 7 / Internet Explorer 8.0

    Look in the user manual, you may have accidentally set the sleep mode to activate after 5 minutes!

      Thank you rd_9 for your assistance. I checked the standby mode but none of that. I need to clarify that it's actually the increase in volume that turns off the HIFI system. Every time I turn it on and want to increase the volume, it shuts off by itself.

      Is there never a response? I have almost the same problem: my mini stereo system can turn off at any moment (it's very variable) or not turn on at all for a while. I checked the fuses, which are fine. It doesn't seem to be related to the volume, although the fan no longer turns on (but I rarely turn the sound up very high and for long).
      However, when it's disassembled (plastic panels removed), there doesn't seem to be a problem anymore. Does anyone have a small idea?
