Hello,
For the past few days, when I insert a CD into the CD player, my Philips micro system no longer wants to read it (buzzing, displaying the tracks but the playback doesn't start). The last CD played had some scratches, but I’ve always played it without difficulties before.
What can I do?
I couldn't find a topic that exactly matched my problem, so I’m open to any insights you can provide.
Thanks in advance!
Configuration: Windows XP / Safari 535.2

Good evening...
If you have access to the lens, clean it with a cotton swab soaked in rubbing alcohol... gently but still with some insistence...
If you don't have access, a cleaning CD works wonders (around €15, but practically eternal!)...
Best regards,
See you later

I will follow your advice!!!

By opening the lid and cleaning it well with a cotton swab and 70° alcohol.
My CD player is able to read CDs again.
I also blew out the dust because the player was having trouble closing...
