Hello everyone and thank you to those who will help me!!
This problem occurs with a Sony MHC-RG330 hi-fi system that is 14 years old.
Yesterday, I was listening to the radio, as usual, when I decided to go to bed and turn it off by pressing the [POWER] button, then I disabled the Sony Demo mode by pressing the [DISPLAY] button.
Then I plugged in some headphones to this hi-fi system for the next day.
The next day (today ^^) I decided to listen to music (as usual) by removing the headphones that I no longer wanted to use with this hi-fi system. I pressed [POWER] but nothing. It does not want to turn on anymore. I tried pressing [DISPLAY] to hopefully bring back the Sony Demo, but still nothing!
I checked the manual but nothing corresponds to my problem. I should mention that the red LED on the [POWER] button does not blink. There has been no power outage, and I have never taken this system apart.
I do not know anything about electronics at all.
Also, the headphones that were plugged in are some I found randomly in a drawer at home, headphones from a Sony Ericsson phone.
Thank you to those who will help me!!!
Best regards,
Alexis
