Hello,
I just bought a second-hand printer and some blue ink leaked during transport.
The printer was not flat but in a bag, on its side.
What's strange is that there are no cartridges inside, so I'm having a hard time understanding where this ink came from.
Do you think this is normal or could there be an issue with this printer that explains the leak?
I'm attaching the photos I just took after a little cleaning.

Hi, great response, thanks for your help :)
My printer is a Canon MP170.
But what do you mean by "letting this ink dry well"? Do I need to wait for it to dry inside, like for a few days?
And also: I can't locate the foam absorber, could you please indicate where it is in the first photo? That would be nice...
Thanks
Henri
