Numericable Wi-Fi Security Key

Solved

Hello,

Since yesterday, I've opted for a Numéricable box with fiber optics. I have internet via the ethernet cable, but when I try to connect my laptop to the Wi-Fi and enter the security key, it shows "error." Yet, I can see the box in the list of networks, and I've correctly copied the key from underneath the box, but still nothing.
Thank you in advance for your help!!

I've done it at least 15 times! I'm sure of myself, but I find the security key a bit short compared to what you can find as examples on the internet..
But I took the key that's under the modem so I don't understand. I even checked via the TV in the internet settings..
Help!

Are you taking the key in front of "WEP security"?

On your PC, are you properly selecting WEP security?

Hi,

Make sure you are entering the correct characters for the key.

Note: In order to view the characters you are entering, you can check the box "Show characters", and then uncheck it once you have verified that you entered the correct key.

IMPORTANT: the default key consists of characters in the form of letters and numbers ranging from A to F and from 0 to 9. There is never the letter O and it is necessary to respect the uppercase or lowercase for the letters

A window will inform you "Connection to NUMERICABLE - XXXX successful".
Check the boxes "Save this network" and "Automatically launch this connection" and then click on "Close".
