Big bug with Instagram stories. The red circle does not disappear after viewing a story. Also there is no red circle even when there is a story. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it, I logged out and logged back in. Still the same! Clarification: it was happening on my old phone, I changed it because it was faulty, and it’s still happening on my new phone!!? Thanks for your help

    Hello

    It’s not a bug, it’s a new feature. As usual, the new features are always rolled out to a subset of users; we never get all the new options at the same time.

    The problem (after browsing the forums) is that no one seems to know what it’s for. The most common takeaway is that these are stories about to expire that stay red.

      Thank you. But the red circle (on certain people) does not appear even though there is a story. I notice it when I press on the photo; it’s still not normal!!
