Hello,
I recently switched to fiber, I have a Bbox Sensation.
The Bouygues technician installed the fiber box under my TV stand. But now, I want to move my TV to the opposite side of the room (due to renovation work to break down a wall).
How can I do this? Can I leave my fiber box where it is and connect a long cable? Do I need to move the box?
Thank you for your help
Configuration: Windows / Chrome 59.0.3071.115

Hello,
You can use several techniques depending on your equipment.
In the case that you have the decoder/fiber box combo
Use the PLC
https://www.assistance.bouyguestelecom.fr/tv-bbox/raccordement-decodeur-bbox-tv/installation-decodeur-tv-bbox-adsl
( BBOX TV via PLC).
You just need to buy a PLC duo, plug them in and connect as indicated in the diagram.
If you have the new all-in-one sensation decoder, then there's no miracle,
either you increase the length of your cables (keeping in mind that fiber cables are relatively fragile and expensive), or the HDMI cable (for your TV, I suppose).
Both options mean that your remote control will be pointing in the wrong direction (so there's a risk it won't work)
The last solution will be to contact your operator and pay for a line modification (or an addition of a wall-mounted fiber socket).
or .. not to change places :) (yes, sometimes you have to follow your destiny)
