Samsung SyncMaster SA350 monitor won't turn on

Hello,

I've had a Samsung SyncMaster SA350 monitor for a year, and recently it would sometimes not be recognized by my desktop, but now it won't turn on at all! I've tried using another HDMI cable, connecting it to another desktop, and connecting my desktop to another monitor. The problem must be with the monitor because everything worked fine on the other monitor, but my Samsung monitor still won't turn on even when connected to a different desktop and changing the HDMI cable.
Does anyone have an idea of what this could be?
Thanks in advance,

Crysis

Configuration: Windows 7 / Chrome 24.0.1312.52

Was the button still red when you had the image?
Try changing the wall socket, the power cable... otherwise, it could be the power supply board that's burnt out... we'll have to see...
    See you later

I had the same problem after a year and a month, when a technician from Boulanger told me it was dead and the warranty had expired. A second technician, after I told him that the warranty was two years with Samsung, checked it and returned it to me quickly (in a day) after they updated the firmware!!!
    Since then, it works perfectly.

    Good evening...

If it doesn't turn on anymore, it could also be an issue with the power supply, not necessarily the "video" part...
What does the power button do: does it turn green, then orange, or does it not light up at all...?

    Best regards,
    See you later

Well, it was lighting up normally (red) and now it doesn’t turn on at all.

    Thank you for your help.
