I don't know if I'm posting this topic in the right place, but anyway, it will be moved if necessary.

Despite my research online regarding this famous tablet, I haven't found a solution that corresponds to my problems.

I have still contacted Wacom support for help in correcting these issues, but they are still present.

So, I will present my problems: I purchased a Wacom Bamboo Pen & Touch CTH-470 tablet, and during the installation (with the CD to set up Bamboo Dock and the drivers), I get 3 errors (http://img89.imageshack.us/img89/4479/bamboodockd.jpg) that I couldn't find on the Wacom forum.

Support told me to uninstall the Wacom drivers, unplug the tablet, restart, plug in the tablet, and install the drivers without using the installation CD as it sometimes causes malfunctions, but I still get the message "the tablet driver is not running".

I’m not sure if it’s a driver conflict with my old tablet that I didn't uninstall.

Anyway, even after removing all of them, I still have this issue with the driver not running, and Bamboo Dock won't install.

If you have any ideas :)

I am using Windows 7, and it is supposed to be compatible.

    Not necessarily the solution for you...

    I have a tablet (the one from my laptop) which is an old Bamboo CTE-450, I can't do anything with it anymore, neither on Elements 6 nor on GIMP. As a result, I uninstalled everything: the driver via the device manager and the rest with Revo using the maximum option, I deleted all the registry keys related to Wacom, then I did another cleanup with CCleaner, so for cleaning (everything is spotless in there: no traces or leftovers). After that, I reconnected my tablet, went to HERE, ran my analysis, and in the drivers for peripherals I found the right driver for my old tablet, and since then it works well, I don't have a Bamboo dock but for what it's useful for, you can easily do without it, the driver is enough. The funniest part of this story is that I went to the Wacom website several times where my tablet isn't even listed anymore and they obviously don't have the driver, yes, just like that, but the driver, the right one, that I downloaded is in the end from their site via touslesdrivers.com and maconfig.com, that is to say, where I ran my analysis. So now to clean everything up, I know how to do it instead of wasting time with Wacom support for stuff that is no longer presented on the Wacom.EU site....... I still wonder if there's a commercial story like: we have everything for the new range and if you can't find it, reinvest.... :-((

      I did what you suggested :-)
      Unfortunately, even with the drivers via maconfig, nothing changes, but thank you for your help :-)

    it's true that I didn't think to check the website you suggested.
    But it's frustrating to buy a tablet and encounter installation problems with software that doesn't seem fully polished.

    I'll keep you updated on the situation :-)
