Freebox TV stuck on step 2: authentication

Question

Hello,
So here it is, I just installed my Freebox, the internet and phone are working correctly, but regarding the TV, it gets stuck on the authentication step. I have no idea how to solve the problem.. :/

I don't know anything about it, so please respond with simple terms, thank you :)

Configuration: Windows 7 / Internet Explorer 9.0

I received my Freebox V5 yesterday and I have the same problem... which I solved quite simply: since the plugs wouldn't stay in sync and assuming they're meant to pass internet through the electrical network, I just unplugged the ethernet connection plug/Freebox TV (to keep only the electrical power) and connected a network cable between the ADSL Freebox and the Freebox TV (luckily there are several ethernet ports on the ADSL box and only one on the TV box, exactly where that damn plug should have been connected!) ... and it works, and the synchronization of the plugs (and their desynchronization) no longer matters... I could have even replaced them with 12-volt adapters if I had had any.

Hi,  How are the boxes connected? Ethernet cable or Freeplug?  IF Freeplug, the LEDs should be a steady green.

I had the same issues, phone, computer OK and TV not working without touching anything, whereas at first the TV was OK,
with the message: either blocking at step 2, or insufficient bandwidth, and sometimes it worked for about ten days and then went back to being faulty, it's enough to lose one's mind...
after several calls and interventions, it was resolved.
now it has been working perfectly for several months.

The problem came from the connection of the 2 plugs (1 green light and the other red light)
solution: it is IMPERATIVE that the PLUGS be the first ones plugged in (it's written in the manual but with no explanation or example)
=> in case of MULTIPLE SOCKETS: each plug needs a double socket
that is
1) for TV plug: a double socket (for 1 connection to TV plug and one for the connection of multiple sockets for connecting TV, player, sound system...)
2) for the other box plug the same, a double socket (for 1 connection to box plug and one for the connection of multiple sockets for connecting Freebox, phone, web printer,...)
