Freebox TV locked step 2 or NETWORK

I just had the same problem (with the Freebox V5), here is the procedure I followed that worked:
unplug the power supply from the HD box, hold down the middle button while plugging the power back in. Release the button when the Freebox starts displaying things (the original site mentioned the lighting of a red LED, but it never lit up for me).

It's rare for me to chime in, but I haven't read any satisfactory responses, so I'll share what I found. Directly connecting an Ethernet cable from the router to the TV box while keeping the TV plug powered works right away. Good luck!

I was watching TV when there was a "network error" message, and it froze. When I tried to restart it, it got stuck on the network. I tried everything (resyncing the plugs on a power strip, using separate outlets...) The TV box only worked when it was connected via Ethernet cable. I took the opportunity to do a "hard reboot." Same problem when I switched it back to the plugs...
So I called customer support for the first time around 2 AM. The person didn’t know any more than the information available on forums and asked me to call back between 8 AM and 10 PM for a more competent team.
Called back this morning and surprise, it took 3 minutes to fix.
All it took was to connect the Ethernet port of the freebox HD plug to one of the 4 ports next to the power socket and not to the yellow socket...

Hello everyone, if the error "insufficient bandwidth" appears and remains stuck on the screen, you must first configure the channel mode; the HD mode is set by default. To do this, you just need to go to your remote control and then: free ===> settings ===> television ===> standard or low bandwidth ;)
You can also try adjusting the ping to remedy this by directly accessing the management interface ===> internet section ===> Ping adjustment (fastpath) ===> choose the mode: SERENITY: reduces errors ("FECS") on your line to a minimum.
This mode is highly recommended to optimize the quality of television broadcasting and especially to reduce or even eliminate image freezing.

I finally unplugged the two powerline adapters, plugged one back in next to the other, pressed the button on the first adapter and then on the second.
I waited for the lights to turn green (count about thirty seconds)
I put the second adapter back near the TV and plugged everything back in
and miracle, it works ( ??????????? )

Thank you for the valuable advice from some of you. The Freebox was desperately stuck on step 2. I modified, as some suggested, the connection of the Freebox to one of the 4 Ethernet outputs of the Free and not to the Ethernet output near the power cable, then I rebooted it properly (4 times in a row, unplugging/replugging) and miracle.... the Freebox TV is working!

Thanks to everyone for this valuable advice. Without it, it would be mission impossible.

Thank you very much. After struggling for a day to set up the TV with the powerline adapters upon receiving my box (the TV being too far from the ADSL box, I couldn't connect with the yellow Ethernet cable), I changed the Ethernet port on the ADSL box (by placing it in the area where the four yellow ports are, instead of the one near the power supply as indicated in the installation) and the TV worked. A big thank you because on all the forums, only this info helped me find the solution.

For the same problem, no matter what I did, it was stuck on step 2.
You need to unplug the power cable from the other box, the one with the clock, directly from the box, plug it back in, wait for the 8888 to be replaced by dashes, and then unplug/replug again immediately... you need to do this 4 times. This resets that box, the dashes spin quickly and then form a bar that goes up and down. This time, the free box will get past step 2... finally!
!!! This happened to me already last year, I had to do the 4 plug/unplug several times before it worked (for 2 hours, no kidding!). Sometimes they are crazy ;-)

I've already done what you're suggesting and still nothing.. when you say to reverse, do you mean to put the TV Freeplug in place of the one that shows the time??? otherwise all the manipulations have been done with the 13 seconds pressing alternately the 2 Freeplugs then 3 seconds likewise alternately etc etc

When this happens, you also need to restart the Freebox and not just the BoxHD.

If you have updated the Freebox, to reset the BoxHD you need to connect it via Ethernet to the main port of the Freebox, unless you are already connected with an Ethernet cable or through powerline.

Thank you, I had the same problem with the Free blockage, and it works again by following your advice. I connected the HD box directly to the Freebox and the software reset worked properly while it was blocked when I was using the plugs.
