Hello,
I am using Word 2007 (SP3).
I have a file with several sections.
Randomly, in some sections, the header appears in the middle of the page, on one page, but not on the previous or the next one.
When I use the ruler on the left margin to reduce the size of the header (by dragging the slider upwards), the header shifts to the bottom of the page, against the footer.
And it no longer leaves space for the body of the text, which seems to be in the background.
Result: I can't reduce the header and it's really getting on my nerves.
I read on a forum that I could delete normal.dot, and that upon reopening Word, a brand new one would be recreated. I haven't tried this (because in my case, I am not an admin on my PC). What do you think?
Thanks
Configuration: Windows Vista / Internet Explorer 8.0

I got it, I just found it!!
Actually, all my pages were vertically centered.
So I removed this option in Page Layout>Page Layout>Layout>Vertical Alignment: Top (instead of Centered)
Phew....
