Hello,
The question seems simple, I have been looking for a good while on the internet and I can't find what I want, so I am allowed to open this topic hoping to get some help.
When you open a Word document, there is no header or footer.
You can modify the margin simply by changing the ruler on the left and thereby use the entire A4 format.
What I want to do is insert an A4 image into an annex in a Word document and have it take up the entire page.
At the beginning of the document, I have headers and footers.
To remove them at the end of my document for the annex, I insert a section, uncheck "link to previous," then I press CTRL+A to select all the content in my header and press DELETE.
Okay, but the header box always remains, and I can't get rid of it.
If I try to change the thickness of the header on the ruler, after a minimum thickness, there is a bug, and the header takes up the whole page >_<
So, I stop getting frustrated about this and I am asking you if there is a solution?
Important: I am using Word 2003, which does not make it easier.
Thank you
Configuration: Windows 7 / Chrome 29.0.1547.57

Good evening
..."can I press CTRL+A to select all the content of my header and then DELETE." : Unnecessary, by unchecking "link to previous," the header of your last page disappears
"there's still the header box that I can't get rid of.
If I try to modify the thickness of the header on the ruler, at a minimum thickness there's a bug and the header takes the whole page"
In this section, you can set the headers and footers to 0 (file / page setup / layout tab). But it's also unnecessary. By inserting the image in the header to size it to the page, the header area will be hidden by the image.

Under OFFICE word 2010: Page layout, expand the layout tab (small arrow at the bottom right of the frame), go to layout, page, vertical alignment and choose CENTER.
