Hello,
So, I've searched all over the forums, and while some questions address my problem, there are no answers.
So I'm coming to ask my question.
I have a wireless mouse connected via a simple USB device.
When I install my USB device, a sound occurs (so the computer recognizes the device). The mouse installs without issues.
There's a red light under the mouse, so it's working correctly, and there are no problems with the batteries.
There is a "connect" button under the mouse, but only under the mouse and not on the USB device.
However, when I move the mouse, the cursor doesn't move.
I've tried changing USB ports, changing the batteries, restarting the computer, pressing the "connect" button as much as possible (there's no installation CD or software that came with my mouse).
I'm looking forward to your responses,
Thank you.

Thank you for responding so quickly
The brand of the mouse: APM Wireless Optical Mouse 1600 dpi -
Sometimes updates and restarting the PC are enough. Sometimes just changing the USB port to connect the device is enough too... It's good if it works in any case.

Hello,
Can you provide the brand and model of the mouse please?

"Plug the wireless receiver into the USB port of your computer.
- Press the button on the receiver. The LED on it will start flashing.
- While this LED is flashing, press the button located under the mouse to establish the connection between the mouse and the receiver.
- The LED on the receiver should flash more rapidly, indicating that the mouse and the receiver recognize each other: your mouse is ready to use."

Make your Windows updates.
Have you checked compatibility with your system?

Update done, still nothing.
As for the accounting with Windows, my mouse used to work, it has been working for 6 months. But today nothing works anymore. -
