Hello everyone!
Let me present my problem.
It's been less than 3 days since I bought my wireless mouse (an HP) for my desktop PC running Vista, and until now everything worked perfectly. This morning, I turn on my computer, and when trying to log in, I notice that the cursor does not move at all. I thought the computer was acting up again and the screen was frozen; but no. I could, and still can, select icons with my keyboard. I have changed the batteries three times, I disconnected and reconnected the mouse USB port several times, I even rebooted the computer twice!
The driver is recognized, but I can't use the mouse. Fortunately, I have a wired mouse as a standby (though the scroll wheel is dead).
If someone has a solution, I’m open to it. Other posts on this topic haven't helped me...
Have a good day.
Configuration: Windows Vista / Internet Explorer 9.0

If you have the CD, reinstall the drivers
Do you have in the Start menu a sync application (that installed with the software)
Do you not have a tiny red button on your mouse that resets?-
Thank you for replying so quickly. :) No, I don’t have a driver installation CD. The first time I plugged it in, the drivers were recognized immediately and the mouse was ready to use. If you’re talking about the “Sync Center,” then yes I have it, but they tell me that there is no synchronization partnership configured on my computer. Otherwise, no, I don’t have anything else like that. And no, there is no “Reset” button for the mouse, whether on the USB port or on the mouse itself...
