Mouse lights up but doesn't work!

Hello, thanks to those who take the time to read;

I got a "gamer" mouse (with neon lights and all) that I bought on Amazon and it comes from a Chinese brand (not smart, I know, but it’s cheap).

For about three weeks, the mouse has been working without any problems but today, I simply unplugged it (to use it on another computer quickly) and then plugged it back into my main computer. I did this again and now it doesn’t work anymore.

However, the red light of the optical sensor lights up for 0.3 seconds as soon as I plug it into the USB port, and the bulb that lights up the inside of the mouse (purely aesthetic) stays constantly on, which gives me hope that I can repair the mouse.

I don’t know if the issue is with the computer or if the mouse is broken. :/

Here’s what I've already tried to fix the problem, to no avail:
- Restarted the PC (obviously)
- Uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers
- Changed the port
- FN + F9 (to disable the touchpad)

I'm currently taking apart the mouse to see if there’s something that moved inside, but I don’t notice anything unusual compared to another working mouse.

I’m still waiting and hope a miracle solution pops up from this forum, I care a lot about this mouse and I really want to get it back.

Thanks!

INFO (possibly) USEFUL:
Windows 10 Home
Asus laptop
SUMLINK gamer mouse
USB 2.0 port

Configuration: Windows / Chrome 54.0.2840.87

Is it charged on a base?
Go to "mouse properties", then try reversing the buttons...

No, it doesn't need to charge; it plugs directly into the PC. And when I plug it in, it lights up (the aesthetic lighting of the mouse, not the red light), the scroll wheel works, but neither the clicks nor the cursor moves.
