Hello
So everything is in the title, I've searched through all the forums that suggested various things which I mostly find are nonsense, but whatever! I have a wired Microsoft mouse with Bluetrack technology that lights up with the blue light but does not respond on my PC!
Here’s what I’ve done:
- Restarted my PC several times
- Tried the Fn + F7, F6 or F9 keys
- Disabled the USB ports in regedit and re-enabled them by restarting my PC
I think I’ve practically tried everything I can find in forums from people with the same problem but nothing works for me!
Please help me, suddenly it just stopped, not even during boot, nothing!

Hello Hoasda,
I've had the same problem as you before. First, try plugging it into the different USB ports on your PC. If that doesn't work, disassemble your mouse, open it up, and clean it with a brush (or blow into it).
Try to see if it works now. If it still doesn't work, then download Slimdrivers to check if there is a driver for your Microsoft Bluetrek technology mouse.
If you find it, remember to create a restore point because installing an incorrect driver (too recent, unstable, beta version) can crash the OS.
If it still doesn't work, then try testing it with another wired mouse to see if it's the USB ports that are malfunctioning.
Just one question, what type of PC do you have (desktop, laptop) and what is the hardware configuration?
