Hello,
Some time ago I used my USB key at my high school and when I reused my USB key I realized that all my files were hidden. I managed to access the files and when I go to settings I notice that the files are hidden and I can't remove that. I went to the folder options and checked to show hidden files but nothing happens, I also tried other things but still nothing. So does anyone have a solution to my problem please thank you in advance
Configuration: Windows XP / Firefox 7.0
Best regards, Maximebrunaux
PS: Sorry for the mistakes :D
I Love Percy Jackson and the Heroes of Olympus.
Monster Hunter Tri. I Love Lagiacrus And Alatreon.

Hello,
a hidden folder that does not reappear when checking the box Show hidden files and folders is a deleted folder...
There may be several reasons for your problem:
- You used your USB drive at school, so it may have been infected by a virus that could have damaged your drive and made it unreadable, or simply deleted all its data.
- You made a mistake and the consequences are the same as above: the drive may have been damaged or emptied.
If it is simply damaged, you can try scanning with an antivirus, then repairing it. If the data has been deleted, it is therefore irretrievable.

1) You need to right-click on the folder and click on properties
2) Then in the general tab, uncheck hidden
3) Control panel, folder options, and show hidden folders
4) Right-click on the folder that has reappeared and delete it
