Hello
I recently purchased a mixing table "dj console rmx2", delivered with the software "djuced". I am using speakers for audio output that cannot be connected to the tablet. So to hear the sound, I went to "options", "audio device" and there is only one option to hear the sound through the speakers: "speakers (high definition audio device)". Then below, I noticed several options but after modifying them, no sound comes out either from the speakers or from the headset. After further modifications of the options, if sound comes out from the headset, it does not come out from the speakers and vice versa, if it comes out from the speakers, it does not come out from the headset.
Could you please help me?
Thank you in advance. ;)
Configuration: Windows Vista / Chrome 21.0.1180.83

Hello.
The last option chosen is the right one. As for having sound in your speakers plus
in your headphones, that's impossible. The output jack is basically a switch. The
inner contacts cut off the speakers when you plug in the headphones. Fortunately, because the sound card would handle the final impedance very poorly if the speakers and the headphones were connected together, and it could even end up damaging it.
See you later.....

You will find answers to your configuration questions about the DJConsole Rmx2 by posting on the Hercules DJ Mixroom forum (in the Hardware section)

As for connecting your speakers and your headphones, you should keep the DJConsole Rmx2 as the default "Audio Device" since your console has a built-in sound card. Your speakers should be connected to outputs 1-2 (XLR or RCA) at the back of your console, and your headphones to one of the 2 headphone outputs.
Contrary to what Jojolaguitare says, you can have sound in your headphones and on your speakers at the same time to listen to your mix on one output (1-2) and pre-listen to the next track in your headphones (output 3-4).
If you are unable to connect your speakers to the DJConsole Rmx2, it may be that you have speakers with a mini-jack connector, meaning neither RCA nor XLR. In that case, all you need to do is get a female mini-jack to RCA cable:
