Wireless Philips headset crackling issue

Question

Hello! I just received my Philips SHC8525 wireless headset!
I plug it in, turn it on, and there's a buzzing sound right away, even without opening any task with sound; the buzzing varies in intensity depending on the angle of the headset relative to the antenna, which is very annoying when gaming or listening to music.
I am on Windows 7, using a wireless keyboard/mouse (tried unplugging them and still the same issue), Realtek speakers (which didn't buzz at all)...

Please, I need help, the buzzing is unbearable :S

Thank you for your help. So, diamantnoir, I checked your site, and no questions were posted related to this. :X No one else seems to have the issue of constant crackling!
This headset seems to be of mediocre quality. :s
Anyway, I tried keeping electronic devices (lamp, phone, speakers...) away because I think something is causing interference with the headset, which is making it glitch. :s
If this has happened to anyone... PLEASE HELP! :X

keep the base of your PC headset away from magnetic fields  knowledge is wealth only if it is shared

I just placed the antenna about 2m from the PC or more, still the same, I changed that, I went back to wired keyboard/mouse, still the same... Help please :X

Hello. This is normal with consumer-grade equipment.
Unfortunately, quality still comes with wired connections.

I turned the sound down to minimum on the headset and turned it up on my PC, and there's no more crackling; it's working perfectly now.

I had the same issue for a while with the Philips SHC8535. I tried changing the channel using the small button on the base with the headset antenna, and the crackling was less disruptive. Then, I turned off my Wi-Fi printer and it was fine. If there’s an electronic device with Wi-Fi enabled nearby, it’s normal to experience crackling/interference. I’ve had this headset for nearly a year, it has already broken a few times on the stairs and it’s not damaged; the sound quality remains relatively good.
