Audio driver beats by HP DV7-4170SF

Question

Hello,

Since I reinstalled my PC, I lost my Beats audio driver that used to provide great sound. I want to find it back, but I don't know how to do it. I've changed my system, so I lost all the original software. If you know how to recover them, please help me!

Thank you for your reply destrio5 but what I actually want is to get the same Beats by Dr. Dre audio driver! I have already downloaded and installed the driver but I still don't have the same sound quality :/

Ah okay, thanks a lot :) !! But I actually have the same one that I installed last week!! And what I don't understand is that I don't feel like I have any bass in my music whereas I did before I reinstalled my PC. I wonder if it's the same driver or if there might be a feature that is missing?

Look in the IDT control panel (I don't know how to access it, try Start Menu > Control Panel).

Ah, I found what I really wanted: by the way, I wanted the triple bass reflex subwoofer driver! I searched on Google but I can't find it :/

Sorry, I wasn't at home! But no, I don't have the same menu, mine is the Beats one and that's the problem, believe me!! I have the menu but not the driver, so the sound isn't great anymore..

Start Menu > Control Panel > Uninstall a program.

Uninstall the IDT driver and then restart the PC.

Install this one and see if there is any change:

It's the same thing, actually no sound like in the original configuration! By the way, what I wanted was to have the driver that goes with the Beats subwoofer to make the music sound better..

no no because I no longer had the original software and drivers. I had to download the drivers separately...

Hi solidarity.. actually I have the opposite of your problem. I have the bass from the triple bass subwoofer but I don't have any treble. So the sound is deep and not really pleasant to hear...
How did you get your first driver that worked..
