Remove indentation and bullets

Hello,

I use Word 2011 for Mac.
I’ve had a little problem for a month (yes, I’m finally deciding to take action!)...

Actually, when I want to delete an indent by pressing the key, nothing happens at all! So every time I have to remove the indentation in the "ruler" just above the text...
Whereas before, when I pressed the key, the text would shift directly to the left...

The same goes for bullets. When I write and then press the "return" key, a new bullet appears. If I press the key to delete it, it just takes me to the end of my last character (on the previous line). So I can no longer make line breaks without bullets unless I fiddle around with the bullets...

SOMEHOW, I’m wasting time fiddling around to reorganize my text as it should be.

Could you please help me?
(I hope I was clear... :))

Thank you.

Have a nice day.

Select the text from which you want to remove the bullets or numbers.

In the Formatting toolbar, click on Bullets or Numbering.

Microsoft Word automatically adjusts the numbering sequence of a numbered list.

NOTE To remove a single bullet or number, click on it and then press the DELETE key.
