Hello,  I would like to remove the overlay that automatically grays out the text and images I place in the header and footer in Mac Word 2011.  Configuration: Mac OS X / Safari 534.53.10

Hello, You cannot remove the gray from the header and/or footer. This has been done to distinguish the text of the document from the headers and/or footers.  Best regards

lionel !  It's not a veil: print it out, you'll see that everything is normal. f894009  is right: it's a matter of differentiation in the display; if you double-click in the header, it will be contrasted, and it's the text that will be "veiled."  Your memory, it's when you do "Print Preview," plain and simple... -- Retirement is great! Especially in the Caribbean... :-) &#9787; Raymond &#9794;
