Hello,
I would like to connect my Philips hi-fi system that plays CDs, cassettes, and has a tuner to a separate amplifier, which would allow me to have a single device for the different sources.
For that, I connect the jack output of my hi-fi system to the input of my amplifier, and my speakers are connected to my amplifier.
But one question is troubling me: my hi-fi system also has an amplifier, so that makes two amplifiers. Is there a risk of frying one of the amplifiers?
If so, is there a way to connect my hi-fi system, which I use as a source to my amplifier, without using the internal amplifier of my hi-fi system and to make a secure connection?
Thank you.

Hello
I assume that when you talk about the jack output of your hi-fi system, you're referring to the headphone output. It's true that this is not the best solution.
The best option, if it's a standard hi-fi system, meaning with separate components, with a "normal" amp, is that there should be a "Recording" output, or "Tape Out."
That's the output you should connect to the line input of your amp.
