Hello,
the LCD screen of my camcorder stays solid white, so I can't see what I'm filming unless I close it and use the viewfinder, but it's small and I can't see much
thank you for your information<code>Configuration: CAMCORDER SAMSUNG vp-d351

your failure is the ribbon cable that connects the LCD panel to the control board, this failure is due to the rotation movement of the LCD screen, the ribbon cable costs about 30 euros...

Good evening Fenril,

I just took apart my Samsung VP-D351 camcorder due to a screen failure.
It’s definitely the ribbon cable that got cut cleanly.
Do you have an address?
Where can we find the replacement part?
Thank you in advance!

Is anyone there??
No one to point me to a good address to find this tablecloth?
The part is easy to replace, but without the address of a supplier, I can't do anything!

At your good heart!
Thank you in advance.

Hello
I have the same problem as you
Is the camcorder difficult to disassemble?
Did you find the ribbon cable?
Thank you

Easy? No problem, just a small cross screwdriver is enough. Just make sure to locate the position of the 2/3 longer screws but that's it. The ribbon cable disconnects very easily, on the camcorder side and on the screen side. In fact, it has little to do with electronics; it's really within the reach of someone who did some mechanics when they were little.
In short, order and method are sufficient.
However, as long as we don't have the address where we can get the said ribbon cable...

Hello

It's done, I found the part. You can go check at Gitem (after-sales service), they can order it, it's very simple! Of course, if there's a Gitem store near you!

Hello, for the parts I found this address: Société Soum 15 Chemin du Chapitre Z/I Thibeaud Toulouse Tel 05 61 43 61 61. Now, I just need to disassemble the camcorder to fix the issue.

Hi, the operation of my camcorder stops after 10 minutes every time.
It's a VP-D361W.

Response to Tentenlair: I have the same problem. In fact, it's the connecting ribbon to the screen that's torn.
It's not a big deal, but when you know you have to go through a dealer with the "comfortable" labor costs and the obligation to go through them to obtain the part, it’s better to think carefully.

Hello, I haven't received a response, but never mind, I returned my camcorder to my supplier and it finally came back to me usable as it was at the very beginning

hi

I have the same problem and a Samsung VP-D351 like yours
I took apart my camcorder and it’s the connection ribbon too
but the big question is still: where can we get the ribbon?

Hello. Clearly not in Algeria. I adapt a cable that I recover from VCDs or sometimes we can find it in computer equipment. You just have to make the right choice regarding the number of tracks, the length of the cable, and the width. I have repaired many camcorders that have this problem. I swear it works.
With pleasure.

I have a JVC camcorder whose screen stays black and shows "LENS CAP" but I can view old recordings. I've learned that these camcorders had a sensor defect and that it’s enough to replace the lenses, but I don't know where to do that. Would you be able to repair it, and if so, how can I get in touch? Thank you.

Thank you for your responses, everyone!! No GITEM in my area (Nièvre). Wait and see for the direct request to SAMSUNG, otherwise, we’ll keep the GITEM option open. Keep us updated, Fred...

Hello,
Same problem with my vp-d103i
I had a hell of a time taking it apart: one screw was hidden under the warranty sticker (which is expired anyway)
Any news about this ribbon cable?

I found a guy for your ribbons. I have the same problem with my Samsung VP D351. The ribbon costs 30 euros + 3.50 euros for shipping, delivered within 72 hours. Call: Enrique Depannage at 04 66 23 01 00. He also has a website. Bye.

I also have a VP-D351 with a cut ribbon, is it possible to get the internet address of this Enrique? At home, the Gitem store doesn't want to order it; they say they don't have an account with Samsung.

www.enrique-depannage.com to order the tablecloth, it's better to call him at 0466230100 total 34 euros including tax. I just received mine and it works perfectly. To reach him by phone, call after 6:30 PM, it's easier.

Hello,

I have the same problem, but I'm struggling to open the screen and extract the ribbon cable on that side. Is there a trick or a risk of breaking something?

Thank you for guiding me; I wouldn't want to break anything so close to the goal.....

Best regards,

Dominique.

Hello,

Tablecloth received yesterday and camcorder back in operation!

I wouldn’t say the operation is trivial, but we managed to get there.

I just have three extra screws left for which I’ll need to find the placement at the next opening. For now it works, so no risk...

Good luck to everyone who will undertake the operation. For €40, I think it's worth the cost if it lasts at least some time... because that's already 10% of the price of a new one...

Best regards.

Hello.
I see that you managed to fix the breakdown.
As for me, the problem is I can't figure out how to wind it.
If you have a photo or an explanation.
If I start from the screen or from the camcorder.
I still end up upside down.

See you later!

Hi
I have a problem with mine, it shows "protection" on the screen. I've checked everything, even the small security lever on the side of the cassette, but nothing worked. I bought new cassettes, but the same problem persists.
So if someone could help me out
Thanks in advance.

Hi everyone
I have a problem with my Samsung VP-D101 camcorder with the CCD sensor. I have a solution for this malfunction, but it doesn't last long. I'm looking for another solution to fix this problem.

For the disassembly of the VPD351, there are three screws underneath, screws on top, and on the side.
Then how do we take the assembly apart without breaking everything?
Thank you for your response
