Hello,
my JVC GR DX55 E camcorder refuses to eject the cassette, the error E01 is displayed. Nothing works anymore. The screen shows "unit in safeguard mode."
I have unplugged the power several times, but nothing helps. Is it an internal memory issue or a mechanical problem?

Having a JVC GRDX 300 E digital camcorder that’s three years old, I had to clean the heads in August with a tape, but the result was disappointing, so I used alcohol and a cotton swab since then, it’s been a blue screen with nothing else. I suppose I moved the heads without knowing exactly where they are!!!
A quote is 100 euros, a new one is 200 €. Is there a way to get it working again?

Hello friend.
My JVC GR D23E camcorder
has a problem; when I switch to recording mode, I don't have any image on the LCD screen or in the viewfinder, everything else works normally, including settings and tape playback.

Hello  In response to Gentil, regarding your camcorder, I suggest you check with the JVC after-sales service in Paris if you live in the area because I went there for the above problem and within an hour I left with it in brand new condition. I thank them, by the way (at no cost). Good after-sales service. The store is in Montmartre. Have a good weekend.

I have a problem with my JVC GR-DX27E camcorder, the image it displays is completely blurry and I can't seem to fix it, so to speak, it is unusable!!!

What’s strange is that the films that were recorded with a clear image, before this problem, are still played very clearly on the camcorder.

Do you have any idea what the problem could be and how much the repair might cost??

Hello, I just bought a JVC digital camcorder with a 30 GB hard drive. Everything works, but I want to edit videos using MOVIE MAKER, and I'm having trouble. The file extension isn't compatible. Hello, I have a JVC GR DF 540 E mini DV camcorder, when I replay what I just filmed (with the camcorder), there are very disturbing sound interruptions. Moreover, I feel like this stops the transfer to the PC via IEEE1394, and this happens with several acquisition software. Is there a way to repair it? Hello Michel, I'm writing to ask for your opinion on the issue with my JVC MiniDV Camcorder GR-DF540EX: it came back from the service center of the site where I bought it, it works only when plugged into the mains (when the battery is charging) but when I disconnect it, the camera turns off, and when I try to turn it back on, it lights up for a moment (5 seconds) then turns off again. I bought a new battery and tried it with the new one, but I get the same result... Thank you.

I have a problem with my camcorder screen when I want to film or review films; the images on the screen are flickering and not clear. I can only see small rectangles or bands. Also, I have to use the viewfinder to film or watch, and I cannot access the different functions such as Menu, Select set, etc. Without reason, and regardless of the type of tape, sometimes the image becomes correct on the screen. It's random but increasingly frequent.
Can you tell me what causes this problem and how to solve it? (considering that my device is no longer under warranty)

Hello,  "lens cap" message on GRD 20 out of warranty! I opened it and apparently it would be the SMD transistor at the back of the CCD that is dead, unless I'm mistaken! I don't have the schematic, what is the reference of the transistor or which one can I replace it with?  Thanks in advance!

When there's too much light, all you see are very bright silhouettes, and when it's a bit dark, we have to turn on the light and everything is blurry, and the speed is slowed down. My JVC GR-DF540 (mini DV) camcorder is giving me the following error message: "01 - unit safeguard mode, remove and reattach battery."
I tried plugging it into the mains, putting in a new battery, the sellers (Planet Saturn) also tried, but nothing works; it's like it's locked, and I can't even eject the cassette!
Yet it's barely 2 years old, and I really take care of it.
