Hello,
Perhaps this is not the right forum, but I use Thunderbird for my correspondence.
Here is my problem: after a rather aggressive cleanup of my computer, in the heat of the moment I erased all my passwords and codes for the computer, particularly for Thunderbird. I have 3 email accounts with different codes; it would have been enough just to re-enter them to restore everything to how it was before. Moreover, I have a small table with all my codes; I was thus able to recover 2 of them without difficulty, but the 3rd was erased by some number, I don’t know how.
I have spent several hours resetting this code for my Orange address, using the "forgot password" function, but these clever folks send me the provisional code precisely to the address to which I no longer have access.
So how should I proceed, and would it be possible to recover this old darn code from the mass of all the old messages that are still in the inbox of that address, but which, because of the password loss, no longer receives anything?
