Connecting to Freebox Server... Solved/Closed

Question

Hello,

I just received the FreeBox "new generation" pack (the brand new one!).
The internet box is working perfectly: the pairing was done in the blink of an eye.
However, the TV is still trying to pair with the Box... It's been hours...
I checked the connections (HDMI cable OK / reset OK) but nothing works...

I need your help!

I just reviewed my FREE equipment (Freebox Revolution) an hour ago. I had the same problem.
It seems to me that the problem comes from the player’s firmware.

So I directly connected the Freebox server and Freebox player with the Ethernet cable (RJ45). To do this, you just need to unplug the network cable from the Freeplug on Freeplayer and instead plug in your Ethernet cable, connecting the other end directly to a free port on the Freebox server.
After downloading the firmware, follow the configuration of the remote control, etc. Reconnect your Freeplug with its cable and normally they should synchronize.

Hello,

If the message is

, you need to check the 2 PLC boxes: the lights should be either solid green or solid red.

To pair the Freeplugs, plug both into the same power strip, then press both at the same time for 3 seconds, then release and normally the pairing happens automatically through the electrical current.

The two PLC boxes can then be installed at their final location.

the gray USB box connect the RJ45 plug that looks like a telephone plug to the red USB head box anywhere. it should work

the TV box is connected to the power line adapter which has a green light
so for this adapter, unplug the network cable and plug it into the clock box without even disconnecting the power

Hello, connect the free box and the TV box using a telephone-type cable, and connect RJ45 Ethernet sockets at both ends. I had to go through my walls and attic, and it works very well.
Perhaps another solution, but I haven't tested it, is to connect the electrical sockets on the same line; this should prevent interruptions due to old electrical installations.
