Hello,

I've been having a problem since yesterday with my BlackBerry. It displays a white screen with "app error 523 reset" on it. When I click on reset, it restarts, and after the phone verification loading, it shows a white screen again with "app error 523 reset"! I don't know what to do. I've tried updating it and restoring it; I've tried everything, but Desktop Manager doesn't detect my phone! Please help me.

Hi,

I also had this problem and I managed to fix my BB Curve 8520 and even a Bold 9700! First, you need to download the latest version of Blackberry Desktop Manager.

Launch BDM (Blackberry Desktop Manager)
remove the SIM card, the memory card, and the battery from the device, then connect your device to your PC
after loading, a message will appear, click on update, then there will be another one where you will enter your email address, then the last one where you will choose a version (do not click to install the update) everything starts ...
When you see Reconnecting RIM (I forgot the name), insert your battery and turn on your device; during the BIOS loading, the screen will turn white, don’t worry, just wait a bit and you will see new loading! at the end of the installation, the device will be in English, to switch it to French, keep your device connected to BDM, then go to applications and search for the French language! And there you go =) good luck

Did you remove your battery? And do you have the latest BDM update? You remove the battery before plugging in your phone.

Hi, I really struggled, but I finally went to https://www.blackberry.com/fr/fr#tab_tab_upgrade and I completely reformat the phone. However, I want to warn you that I lost all my information, including what was on the micro SD, so if I were you, I would remove the micro SD before doing anything.

I asked them if they were kidding me... In short, my friends, it's pathetic. Hello! I had the same problem; I didn't know what to do, so my provider replaced it for me, knowing I had to wait quite a while! Then with the second one, I experienced it again, and I decided to take matters into my own hands and installed the OS higher than mine.
