Hello, by tonight or tomorrow I want to order my new speakers with a budget of €130

I have a Pioneer A 209 R 2*45 at 4 ohms and 2*60 at 4 ohms
Since the new models are very expensive, I thought why not look into older series

And I'm interested in the Jamo E350

Technical sheet Jamo E350 Speakers.
The sound quality produced by these meticulously finished speakers is worthy of the most demanding audiophiles. With an impeccable reputation in the exclusive circle of quality speaker manufacturers, JAMO has managed to stay current, notably due to the care taken in the design of these speakers.

Woofer 165 mm
Tweeter 25 mm

Audio Power: max. 140 watts

Impedance: 8 Ohms

Advanced Features:

Volume: 47.2 liters

For sale on Dimipro

How do these speakers perform in terms of bass, treble, etc.? I want something good for small gatherings at home and for personal use

PS: I can't move by car, so no second-hand options possible except for Cash Express not far from me xD

Otherwise, I saw some Warfedale Valdus 500 nearby, do these types of speakers work well?

Sincerely sorry for my terrible spelling snif
Configuration: Windows 7 Internet Explorer 7.0

Thank you in advance for your responses!

already listen to your amp with the speakers... because you might have just as good a sound as with an additional subwoofer..

You're probably right. Personally, I have a DENON AVR-2700. It's not set up for home cinema because I don't have enough cash right now for a good subwoofer, 2 centers, etc... but it's equipped with 4 main JAMO E350 speakers and as far as music goes, it rocks with a sound quality that is evenly distributed. No need for a subwoofer that would muffle the sound (The 5 or 6.1 system is not designed in my opinion for music. Those who have 5 home cinema speakers should, I think, set the amplifier in Stereo mode and not 5.1 to listen to music, but hey...
Hi folks.

At the moment I'm telling you this about the Jamo speakers, I still have my little 209 R with two small Klipsch RB51 speakers running for my PC, for simple listening compositions, and it sounds pretty good with a Jamo S 200. That's more than enough for what I use it for since on the other side I do sound system stuff, so if I want to make some noise, I just turn on my two RCF Art 410A MK2 and that's it ^^ there you go.

it has a maximum power, so it delivers 2x30w at 4ohms or 2x15w at 8ohms..
ideally, for listening and animating a party, the speakers should be slightly less powerful...

I know what's written on my papers, 2*45 at 4 ohms and 2*60 at 4 ohms, just look it up online.

Otherwise, are Jamo S 406 columns at 6 ohms going to work with the amp?

Ouu the amplifier can handle 4 ohms, so it can deliver for 6 ohms, but the power ratings indicated everywhere are in DIN Watts (max).

My 4-ohm sub will therefore be able to accompany the speakers on channel B?

euh..does your amplifier have 4 channels or just 2 channels?

It's a 2-channel, so I can't use it because the speakers are 6 ohms and the sub would make it 3 ohms, but it's not a problem, I will buy an active sub later that I will connect in mono to the REC outputs.

Yes, the speakers already have good bass, but I wanted to check if I could add one; however, it's all good now. If I want more vibration, I'll go for an active subwoofer.

A good sound, that's easy to say, you'll never have bass this deep without a subwoofer, knowing that only a sub can go down to the sub-bass frequencies.

Hello everyone, I just bought the two Jamo E350 speakers!! They are connected to a Sony STR-DE315 amplifier and honestly, it's working well. For me, the subwoofer isn't necessary, especially given the prices!! I paid €59.90 for my speakers at Cash Express!! So honestly, it's a very good price/quality ratio!! I highly recommend them to all lovers of clear, crisp sound and those who enjoy bass, because for speakers, they sound great!

The s406 speakers are better for the little difference in price. I got my 406s for €130. I read that they were the least good from Jamo, so I preferred to spend an extra €50, and the 406s have a quality sound, good bass, acceptable power, high efficiency, and above all, a great price-to-quality ratio.
