A WiFi printer connects to the network like any laptop or device equipped with a WiFi card.
The connection configurations are detailed in the manual that comes with the printer (it varies depending on the printer manufacturer).
Depending on the models, it may be necessary to put the router in pairing mode (button 1 or REG for the LiveBox).
The printer's WiFi card detects available networks; you need to choose the corresponding network and select "Infrastructure Connection," and finally enter the WEP or WPA key.
The next step is to install the software provided with the printer on each of the network's computers to use its various features.
The printer on the network does not appear as shared by a particular computer but rather as if it were directly connected to each computer.

Windows 7 is not compatible with EpsonNet Setup. (Epson website)
But I tried it with the Windows 7 emulator in XP mode, but that doesn't change anything?

I also have this problem with a laptop running XP or Vista despite being perfectly paired via USB but not over Wi-Fi. I'm even wondering if it works because the light under the Wi-Fi inscription on the printer isn't lighting up. If anyone has a solution, I'm all ears.

I also encounter a Wi-Fi installation problem with an Epson Stylus 510W on a Windows 7 PC. The installation procedure crashes (EpsonSetup Manager module). However, everything works fine with Vista and there's no issue with USB connection. I wonder if Windows 7 brings its first set of incompatibilities.
