Hello,
I have installed my new Epson SX 425 W printer on my computer, but I cannot connect to my Bbox via Wi-Fi.
I entered the network number (SSID), but the display on my printer is asking me to enter the 8-digit security key. How can I find this number? I entered my IP number, but it has 9 digits and that doesn't work!
Can you help me connect my printer to Wi-Fi?
Thank you very much.
Best regards,
Configuration: Windows 7 / Internet Explorer 8.0

I will explain from the beginning
For everyone
First, you need to install the drivers using the CD, then you can enter the key that the printer requires, which is the security key for your router; it can be between 5 or 13 characters or between 10 or 26. (I don't know why it asks for 8.)
Normally, after installing, the Epson drivers explain clearly.
(Too bad it's in English, but we manage)
Normally, everyone who has installed with the CD can see this page
file:///C:/Program%20Files/EPSON/TpManual/EPSON%20SX420W%20Series/fr/Netg/panel/g_html/manual_01.htm
Normally, you should be able to print from your computer but not scan. My problem was mainly with this, and I solved it by going to (for XP)
Start - All Programs - Epson - Epson Network Configuration -
The EpsonNet setup opens; you click once on "Next," and you note your IP address, which will be 4 digits separated by a dot, between 0 and 255. You continue on to Next to make sure everything is fine and return to
Start - All Programs - Epson - Epson Scan - Epson Scan Configuration
You click on "Stop," then on "Add," "Enter Address," and there you put your IP address - OK and again OK
And there you go
I hope I was clear and that you will all succeed on the first try
Good luck
And let me know if everything works.
