Hello,
I have a big problem, I set up my new configuration yesterday and I want to install some games.
The issue is that some games won't install because there is a CRC error oO (This also happens with software installation...)

Hello, a CRC error is often due to a faulty burn, your games/software are poorly burned. ;)
-
Or a faulty download

If your computer speaks English, it was probably made in Japan. -
It might be your reader that is messing up

Oh My God !! -
I'm on the verge of a nervous breakdown, sorry but up!
I'm really sorry but I've spent over 1000 euros on my gear and there's no way it's working :@ -
I'm not doing that at all, it works perfectly on my other PC :/
I can't take it anymore, I'm going to crack :( -

Am I free?
I don't understand
No, but seriously, has no one ever had this problem? I even copied my original Race Driver Grid CD to my hard drive but it’s still the same, no way around it, while on another computer it works perfectly fine. (Race Driver Grid is just one example among all the other games that don't work either.) -
Here is my new configuration if it can be useful:
Phenom 2 4x 955
OCZ RAM 2x 2GB 1333MHz
WD Velociraptor 150GB hard drive
M4A79T DELUXE motherboard
2 ATI Sapphire 4870 1GB cards in Crossfire
Corsair 850W power supply
Thank you in advance for your help. -
It's up to you to crack

Cracker? Oh okay... No, I want to tell you that the games I'm trying to install right now are on original DVDs that were lent to me. The problem is that this CRC error only appears on my new PC...
Tell me? Can I still use the beta version of Windows 7 or is that no longer possible? Because I downloaded it from the Microsoft site upon its release, but I've always kept it and never reinstalled it since I was told that the license was no longer valid oO

I repeat, it's your reader that messes up

Oh My God !! -
But its copy works without any problem and moreover the software does the same to me!
-
Maybe the reader doesn't see their CRC error and the install program sees the CRC error

Oh My God !! -
Yes, it's possible, but what does a simple downloaded software explain?
PS: I just changed the drive, and it's still the same... I'm losing hope :( -
the hard drive that is messing up
it's the only one left for this error

Oh My God !! -
But sometimes formatting is not enough; you have to do several.
