Koolsound TXA 650 amplifier issue

Hello,

hello everyone
I have a little problem with a Koolsound TXA 650 amplifier (bought from Conrad). I generously lent it to my neighbor yesterday, I did the installation for him by connecting only one speaker (Koolsound type: ZR 12) in bridge mode
and he called me in the middle of the afternoon to tell me that there was no more sound. Indeed, the two small "sig" lights were on; this may be due to overload, but of course he just told me that he didn't know why it had suddenly stopped...
I packed the equipment back up thinking I would let it rest, but today those two lights are still on

So I'm turning to you hoping that someone knows the solution to my problem, aside from returning my nearly new equipment to the store

Thank you for your responses and have a good evening =)

He probably went into protection mode when there was a risk of overload or short circuit. I had the same problem with a simple 500W Sony stereo. I had connected an extra subwoofer to it, and I listened to music loudly for an hour, then bam, it shut off and there was no way to get it to work again. So I think the outputs are fried.

So I think it's the same for you.

Should I take it back for a warranty claim?
Yet, there was only one 250w speaker connected to a 1x650w amplifier..

surprising especially in bridge. you have some leeway on the power side
    check the fuses!

I don't think it's a speaker problem because the overheating lights are on
but to change the fuses, do you have to open it? I'm afraid that if I open it, it won't be under warranty anymore.

Yeah, so the best thing is for him to take it to the service center.
