For your case, you should first check Pixmania's conditions for returns of defective products or even contact the customer service of that site. You shouldn't have any issues with an exchange since Pixmania doesn't seem to be a platform for professional and individual sales. Only then will you need to deal directly with SAMSUNG, but that won't be necessary; Pixmania is reliable.
However, never delay with a warranty; do it within the 7-day withdrawal period, it's always better and especially know that return shipping costs are your responsibility. Make sure to pack your reader well in its original box and choose a shipping company instead of the post office. It may cost more, but you'll have fewer issues if your package arrives damaged.
I notice that my case was not isolated. I will send your message to my seller; he seemed surprised that the device wasn't working!!
