send Word file without markup Solved

Question

Hello
I need to send a Word file that contains corrections by email. I wanted to know if by sending the file with the final option checked, meaning without markup, the recipient still has access to the corrections made or not. It’s probably a silly question, but I’m not very good with computers. If the corrections are still accessible, what should I do to ensure they’re no longer visible?

(File/Options/Trust Center/Trust Center Settings/Document Specific Settings) and uncheck the box: "Show markup on open or save" (this is the third box). I also recommend checking the box "Prompt before printing" (the first box).

Hello,

If you're still seeing the marks, it means you haven't accepted the changes. That's clear.
We can choose different display modes to see them or hide them, but that doesn't mean they're accepted.
Which version of Word are you using?

Regarding the comments, if they shouldn't be seen by the recipient, yes, they need to be deleted.

Well yes, that's exactly what I was telling you, they haven't been deleted because the changes haven't been accepted or refused.

First of all, make sure that the Review mode is turned off, then:
On the Review toolbar, click the dropdown arrow on the "Accept Change" button and choose "Accept all changes in the document".
If you do not want to accept them, you need to reject them => that's the next button.

It's important to understand that the dropdown list (Final, Final Showing Markup, Original, Original Showing Markup) is only used to display or not display the revision marks.
