Hello everyone, I need help.
I have a Vista HP computer that is a little less than 2 years old.
Recently, a blue screen with "A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer ...." has appeared several times, so I restarted my computer with its factory settings from the start menu or utility or something like that.
It took a while to restart, then it was like "new."
I installed my internet connection, then while trying to install a free antivirus (Avast), the computer showed the blue screen again.
Additionally, my internet connection keeps disconnecting and reconnecting, but it is also very slow, just like my computer.

I would really like to get back my computer that was fast and worked well.
Can you help me? THANK YOU
Configuration: Windows Vista Internet Explorer 7.0

Re,

Here are some avenues to explore:

1. Problem related to a malware attack
The deletion or alteration of a driver may be the cause of this type of message. Since detecting the faulty driver is difficult, the best course of action is to reinstall all the drivers for your devices. For your information, there are software programs capable of centralizing all the drivers of a workstation in a dedicated folder.

2. Problem related to the use of a device
It is possible that a device is incompatible with your system's configuration. Updating its drivers may resolve the issue. Check the device manager and the manufacturer's website to see if you can upgrade the said drivers. This problem is frequently encountered with the graphics card.

3. Problem related to processor power
Your processor's power may be at the limit of its capabilities, especially during overclocking, but not only then. The task manager allows you to visualize the processor load.
If your BIOS allows it, reduce the power of your processor.
Ensure that your processor does not have cooling issues.
Dust it off and check the rotation of the processor's fan.

4. Problem related to hard drive failure
Run all possible tests on your hard drives by booting in Recovery Console mode. If it is confirmed that the failure is indeed due to a hard drive, resolving the issue may require a low-level format.

5. Problem related to software use
The issue may arise from incorrect software settings. This error has been encountered with extensive use of XP-Antispy settings. Therefore, it is advisable to revert to default settings or, better yet, uninstall it.

0x0000000A, IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
- A kernel-mode process or driver attempted to access a memory location without permission. The cause may be defective or incompatible hardware or software. In the message, it is possible to see which device is responsible. In this case, it is advised to remove or replace the device. It could also be an issue with an incompatible driver, a system service, an antivirus, or a backup program.
