Hello, having had the same issue (error of + kg instead of - kg), I didn't know what to do to change my goal except wait until the end of the week. However, I found the solution without having to wait (hallelujah!)
- Change the date on the Wii by going to settings, "calendar," "date," and change the date to the previous Saturday, for example, today is Tuesday the 19th, I changed the date to Saturday the 16th.
- Go to Wii Fit, the balance recognizes the date change and offers to set a new goal.
- Go back to settings and put the correct date back.
- Finally, back in Wii Fit, the goal is saved and the problem is gone! :)

Hi,
Sorry for this late reply, but it might still be useful for others like me who have searched for several hours....
To modify the objective, it is possible to delete what the console has recorded in its internal memory via the save data management menu > Wii. That said, this solution erases all saved data for all players and starts everything over from scratch.
