Hello,
I have a Samsung P83 camera, and as soon as I turn it on, it displays "card locked" on the screen, and I can't take any photos. What should I do???
Thank youConfiguration: Windows XP

Look on the map to see if there’s something plastic that you can slide or activate, but in any case, there’s something on the map.

I had the same problem and I've just solved it. You take your chip that is in your camera, you'll see on the left side there's a small plastic tab, you need to push it in the opposite direction from where it is and put it back in your device, and you'll see it will work.

And what if we don't have the little plastic tab? What do we do?

It could be the lock on the edge of the SD card
But some cameras can also "lock" a photo folder so that you can't modify/add anything, it's software in this case
You need to go into the menus and find the (un)lock command......

I had the same thing. In fact, on the card, there is a small latch, just lift it up, that's all.
