Hello,
I'm new...
I have a KONICA MINOLTA DIMAGE X50 digital camera.
When I open the lens, the viewfinder screen is white with a small battery icon in the upper left corner. However, it is a new battery that I just charged.
Thank you for your advice.
Danièle

Hello,
I also have a MINOLTA DIMAGE Z1 that fell, in fact, it's the battery compartment that doesn't close anymore.
During the impact, the small catches for locking it broke.
Best regards. Thank you in advance.

Notice to anyone having issues with optical blocks; it could actually be just dust accumulating in the lens. I fixed this problem by putting the lens in front of a vacuum cleaner nozzle turned on to "super power," and voilà, no more optical block issues! My device is working perfectly again!
Hope this helps you!

Wonderful, that's the solution!!!
I blew it with compressed air (8 bar). and yes...!
I dared...
I tapped it, rubbed it, pampered it, etc... nothing worked.
I read Bianca and placed my anti-static cloth on the lens and put it in my mouth finally my lips and I sucked several times sharply.
It sounds like a magic trick or a fool's trap, but no! It works yes yes and yes, a thousand thanks Bianca.

Hello,
I also have a problem with the optical block on my camera.
It's a Nikon Coolpix 5900. The screen shows an "optical block issue" and the zoom stays extended, making it impossible to retract it and take photos.
Can someone tell me if it's worth getting it repaired? It's no longer under warranty...
Thank you in advance!!!

Hello, I received a Nikon Coolpix L3 digital camera as a gift and unfortunately dropped it on the floor and now it displays "Lens Block Problem." What should I do to repair it myself without having to change my camera?
Thank you very much

Hello,
I was interested in your message because I also have the same device "Nikon Coolpix L3" and I had the same problem (problem with the optical block), the solution, I think, is to take the device to a Nikon authorized service center if you are in Europe.
In the meantime, if you find another solution (workaround), please contact me, I would be grateful.

I also have a problem with the optical block on my camera.
It's a Nikon Coolpix 5900. The screen shows "optical block problem" and the zoom is stuck out; I can't retract it or take pictures.
I read that you had the same issue. Can you tell me if you managed to solve the problem? I'm hesitant to have it repaired since it's no longer under warranty...
Thanks in advance!!!

Bonjour, je suis technicien. J'ai l'habitude de travailler sur les appareils photo numériques. L'appareil indique sur l'écran un problème de bloc optique. Vous faites un entretien général du bloc optique (vous démontez le bloc optique).

Hello,
Like many others, I also have a problem with my Nikon 4100 which displays an issue with the optical block. Since it is no longer under warranty, I don't know what to do. Has anyone found a solution or a repair at a lower cost?????

Hi Daniele,
The graphic on your battery indicates its level.
The more the rectangle is grayed out (usually from right + to left -), the more charged your battery is.
As for the white screen, especially if you've removed the cache in front of the lens and can't find the meaning in the accompanying booklet (at the end of the booklet, don't you have a list of problems with their solutions?), it's more of an issue for the seller and customer service.
See you later.

When I take my photos, the flash doesn't appear and when I activate it, it says that the flash settings cannot be changed. WHAT TO DO.......?????

Could you tell me where I can find your Sony repair service because I have the same problem? And how much did it cost you?
Thank you.
