Ants on the screen

Question

Hello,
I bought an Asus PG191 LCD screen at Fnac about 3 months ago. Yesterday, I noticed that two small ants were wandering around inside, I believe it was between the panel and the neon. When I pressed on it, one of the ants got squished in the middle of the screen, and the next day I saw that the other one (also in the middle, obviously) stopped moving. It's not a virus since it’s the same in the BIOS. So now I’m stuck with two dead ants in the screen (they are about 5 pixels tall and around 2 wide). Do you think the warranty covers this kind of thing?

Configuration: Windows XP Firefox 3.0

It's for sure that it's strong, we should better call the hygiene services to come inspect the Asus Industries factories more closely.

Little chance, because it’s hard to say that the bugs have been there for three months. I don’t think they are ants but rather insects of the "storm bugs" kind that are very thin.
That said, it’s worth trying the argument that it’s not normal for the screen not to be sealed enough to prevent the introduction of such critters...

I too have a tiny kind of insect that has been wandering on my screen since yesterday, it's annoying, what should I do? Is it a virus? DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE THIS?

this could be quite serious, there are invasive species of ants roaming around like that and they are imported everywhere through these kinds of problems (see on this subject: https://www.myrmecofourmis.fr/ ).
There are probably more than two ants! They must be eliminated immediately, make sure they don't escape from the screen, and return the screen to the store. Let's not forget that "bug" comes from the fact that in the past, computers would crash because "cockroaches" short-circuited them from the inside... now you're going to have the same problem but with several hundred ants, and then they will settle elsewhere, behind your heater, in your printer, etc...
