Receive DTT without an antenna

Hello,

I have a TV that I would like to use to receive digital terrestrial television (DTT), but this TV is not connected to the main antenna. However, it does have a built-in antenna that works well, although the quality is not extraordinary.

I would like to know if it is possible to receive DTT on this TV without going through the main antenna and how the quality would be…

    When I talk about an integrated antenna, I mean there is a kind of foldable antenna on top that we constantly have to move to get a decent picture quality... It's on a small 36 cm Thomson TV that is about 7 or 8 years old... You can still connect another antenna to it.

    I found this indoor antenna on the Fnac website:

    One For All Flat Antenna SV 9210
    Extra flat indoor antenna VHF-UHF compatible with TNT - Amplified (38dB)
    Power supply via 12 V transformer (included)

    And on Darty, a Thomson antenna:
    Amplified indoor antenna special for TNT
    Covers all TV and radio channels from TNT
    Power supply via mains or 5 Volts through the TNT receiver

    And I was wondering if this antenna contained a decoder, so I could connect it directly to my TV without having to buy anything else...

      It's already clearer, except you don't say whether the ANTENNA/TV connection is accessible to insert a decoder or not...?!

      An antenna, to my knowledge, cannot have a built-in decoder; a decoder is still quite bulky... but I don't claim to know everything that exists in terms of equipment..
      Your antenna is supposed to receive the TNT, but receiving it WITHOUT DECODING IT WITH A DECODER, in my humble opinion, offers no advantage! ;(

      That's just my opinion...
