LaserJet P1505 printing problem

Hello,

I have several Macs on 10.4.11 that all have the same problem with the LaserJet P1505 printer.

Despite HP technical support, my problem persists.

Impossible to print with Excel or Word 2004 on this printer. The printer stops the jobs.

If the print system is reset, it works, but as soon as you restart, the problem returns.

Has anyone else observed this problem?

    Does your computer detect the printer when you are in the "Print" window?

    Under the "Printer" tab, it should display "Laserjet P1505"
    If it's not there, click the tab, select "Add a printer," then the software "Printer configuration" opens, it will automatically search for printers that are connected. Choose the one you want and click "Add." From there, there should be fewer problems on the computer. After that, I think you should contact your printer supplier.

      Thank you for the reply, but my problem isn’t with the printer recognition, which is indeed in the list of printers. It also prints very well with every other software. Only Word and Excel cause this problem. I have certainly uninstalled and reinstalled them, installed the latest version, but nothing helps. Once again, I have 3 computers and all three have the same issue. I think the printer driver has a problem, but HP no longer answers me.

      Hello! I have a HP LaserJet P1505n printer that was connected to my network, but suddenly it isn’t working anymore. I can’t detect it on the network anymore. What do you think about my situation, please?
