Hello,
I might make some people laugh, but I'm going for it because I can't find a solution to my little problem.
I managed to download a bunch of music tracks to my player via the Windows file explorer, but I don't know how to delete some of these files that I no longer want. I didn't find out how to do it in the user manual on the CD that came with the player.
I think it should be possible to delete certain files, just like on digital cameras.
Additionally, have you heard that the software that comes with the player might interfere with certain Windows functions? That's the reason I didn't install it and used the file explorer instead.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks in advance
Thanks in advance
Hello, I have a Samsung YP-T10, I downloaded Samsung Media Player 5, but I'm unable to transfer my music to my MP3. Any solution please?
Hello,
To put a clip in the T10, you need to convert the clip to MPEG 4 (MP4), which you can do for free at http://media-convert.fr
I have a question too :S
I would like to install firmware 1.55 but I can't download it from the Samsung website, so I was hoping to get a download link for firmware 1.55 for the Samsung YP-T10 that has worked well!
Thanks!
Marc

NO TO PUT CLIPS ON THE T-10, YOU CAN CONVERT YOUR CLICK DIRECTLY WITH THE PROVIDED SOFTWARE (ADD THE CLIP TO YOUR SELECTION > RIGHT CLICK > CONVERT) THERE YOU GO ^^
IF YOU STILL NEED HELP, ASK.

Hello everyone,
-- First of all, I want to say (or rather shout) that the video format(s) to put on the T10 is (are) WMV and SVI, and NOT MP4 as some say. To convert the videos, just install the software (either Samsung Media Studio also known as SMS, or EmoDio) and then choose: Transfer the (video) file to the player, and the software takes care of everything.
-- And to answer you Franky, to delete from the player (any file), go to the File Browser menu and navigate to the desired folder (Music for your songs). Then find the song you want to delete, DO NOT PRESS the center button, otherwise you'll play it. Instead, press the Menu button (the one at the top RIGHT), choose delete, and just confirm, and there you go, it's magic but the song is no longer there... Weird XD
I hope this helps you, and if not, feel free to ask again.

Thank you very much for your response!!!
Just, it's impossible to delete songs from Music!
While I'm at it, how do we install games?
I put them in Games, prng and it keeps giving me an incompatible format!
Thanks in advance!!!

Je n'arrive pas à mettre ma vidéo sur mon YP-T10, pourtant c'est en format WMV. Ça affiche et après ça met "format incompatible". Aidez-moi le plus vite possible, s'il vous plaît.
Hi Didine,
There are plenty of WMVs, it's not just one "category", and the T10 doesn't play all WMVs; they need to be encoded in a certain way...
So to play your videos on the T10, check my post below, I explained everything to MiSsliiLiine60....
I hope this helps you so you can enjoy the video function of the T10.
LonelyBoy
See you later.

I found it well when you’re in FileBrowser and when I go to Music, but if I understand correctly, you can’t do it when you’re in the Music group; when you press the button at the top left, there’s only "add to playlist"!
It’s okay, thank you!
Good luck with your tap dancing, you’ll see, it’s (almost) automatic!

Hi allom1201,
First of all, I almost didn't answer your question XD but well, I'm going to do it anyway :-p
-- RDS is a system that is only available in Europe, and that's why it's only available for European Firmwares (EU, FR, ....) And that's also why when we switch to UMS and have a Korean Firmware, we lose RDS... And the same goes for American or Canadian T10s, because in America there is no RDS but there is RBDS (Radio Broadcasting Data System), let's say it's... uh... its cousin? lol
But you might say, "RDS, RDBS... it's the same thing, right?" Well, there's a small difference, which is "The European and North American systems are absolutely not compatible with each other, mainly due to the different bit rates (but the basic principle is the same)."
There’s the answer... XD
-- And regarding "fans," I don't see why I should have any since I’m just answering a few questions... it's not that extraordinary XD... But thanks anyway....
Hoping I answered your question allom1201...
Best,
LonelyBoy, ^^

Hello, how to install the Samsung YP-T10 MP3 without the CD?
Do you have the drivers or any ideas? Thanks for responding.

You need to install Samsung Media Studio or Emodio!! It’s not a USB stick, the T10!
Install it and you'll see. Good luck!

Re Franky,
I contradict you because we can delete songs from the Music folder and I have done it more than once; we can also delete videos from the Video folder, and so on...
As for games, I think you need to check the "reference" of your YP-T10. For example:
-- I have a YP-T10JAB (JA: for 4GB / B: for "Black", so it is black in color (I love it ;-) )
You need to download the games corresponding to your YP-T10, otherwise you will get an "incompatible format".
There you go, I hope this helps you a bit and that you will be able to install games (even if there are only three + apps for subway maps)

Re Franky,
I assure you we can do it ...
--First, you will need to have the latest Firmware, either 3.06 or 3.03, just to be safe ...
--If you have it, then you turn on your T10, go to the Menu << File Browser >>, enter, and then go into the <> folder, choose the song you want to delete, then press the button "/!\ TOP RIGHT /!\", a menu will appear with the "Delete" option and then you choose "Yes" to confirm (unless you don't want to, it's up to you ... XD)
And I assure you it works, if it doesn't work try with a video or a photo, and if it still doesn't work ... well sorry but I've explained everything and I can't do more XD
I hope you'll finally get it ...

Bonjour, j'ai un YP-T10 [JQB]. J'ai beau convertir mes fichiers en MPEG-4 ou WMV, il ne veut toujours pas les lire. Si vous pouviez m'aider, ce serait cool =D
Hi MiSsliiLiine60,
You need to install Samsung Media Studio (the software provided with your YP-T10) or EmoDio (it's not stable yet, I think). These two programs convert your videos (to SVI and not MPEG4) and transfer them to your T10, and trust me, it works 100%.
Personally, I use EmoDio, which automatically converts videos (to the right format ;-) ) and it has worked since I got my T10 (a few months ...)
Give it a try and it will work, without stressing yourself trying to find and install software (sometimes paid) that converts videos... but to the wrong format XD

Sorry Franky, but I haven't understood my YP-T10 for 4 days. I'm trying to figure it out XD honestly, I'm sorry! But good luck with your search, kisses to you!
Thank you Lonelyboy, I registered just to thank you because your advice has been very helpful for using my T10 which, after all, is not so easy to use at first glance ^^ I'm just having trouble with the videos. I'm in the process of downloading emodio because S.M.S doesn't want to convert my videos :s:s Anyway, I'll contact you if it really doesn't work and if you can help me. Thanks ;)
Hi All-Love,
I'm really glad to hear that (finally read it XD), and also to know that it helped you, and like you said, if you have any issues with using the T10, no problem, just ask and I'll see what I can do ;-)
Good luck with the video conversion...

Well here it is. I've installed emodio. So far so good. XD Then I import my video files. (Avi and wmv format) Then I right-click and transfer to device. It opens the conversion window, I select high resolution, execute ... And then nothing. It doesn't transfer my file or anything ... I'm a bit stuck ^^. Thanks if you can help me :s:s
Hi All-Love
I'm sorry it took me so long to reply (2 days XD) it's just that I wasn't around (it's the holidays... XD)
As for your problem, I'm not exactly sure but probably you need the right codecs.... but I think it's because you chose a high resolution since it takes longer than expected to convert and also a lot more space. I choose medium quality but it still gives excellent quality on my T10 and takes less time for conversion...
So, try converting it to medium quality... if that doesn't work, try downloading the AVI and WMV codecs (I'm not totally sure that will work... sorry)
P.S: You should check if WMP is running because for me, EmoDio refuses to do anything if WMP is open (I think he's jealous... =) just kidding...) Apparently, there are some "conflicts" between them, so make sure to check...

Hi bb, (-_-')
If you have Windows XP SP2 or Vista, you don’t need drivers in my opinion (if you have Windows 2000 or something else, that's another story XD ....) ... But regarding the CD that came with it, it’s used to install Samsung Media Studio, which allows you to transfer music to your YP-T10 faster and also manages CD covers, etc... It also converts your videos and photos so that you can use them on the T10 without compatibility issues...
-- If you’ve lost the installation CD, you can still download Samsung Media Studio /!\ HERE /!\
-- Or you can download EmoDio (the new Samsung Media Studio, in a way...) /!\ HERE /!\
But if you want to turn the T10 into a USB key and don’t want to go through the provided software (but you’ll need to use it to convert your videos and photos), check out the Tutorial to make the YP-T10 UMS
P.S: Apparently the tutorial is no longer up to date, you’ll have to wait for the update to ensure it works properly XD
