Samsung YP-U3 MP3 Bug Issue

Juju-SRFC -

Good evening, I have a big problem with my Samsung YP-U3 mp3 player. I have had it for two months, and everything was fine until today. Suddenly, at the end of a song, it froze and went back to the first song I listened to when I turned it on, and it has been stuck there since. I cannot turn it off or get it to work again. I would really appreciate some help, please. I really have bad luck with mp3 players as this is the third one that crashes. Thank you in advance.

Vous pouvez réinitialiser votre YP-U3 :

1. Faites glisser le bouton HOLD en position Hold comme indiqué dans la figure ci-dessus.
2. Ensuite, appuyez et maintenez enfoncés les deux boutons [User] et [Play].
Le système sera initialisé dans un instant.

I encountered the same problem:

the player is stuck on a track, it won't function (the buttons are unresponsive...), and worse

when you connect it to your computer (running Windows XP... with the correct configurations...), the operating system doesn't recognize it.

Why is there no RESET button or something like that...

Do you have a solution? Should I throw it very hard on the ground?

Thank you

Set the hold button to the position to lock the keys, then press the
user and power-play-pause buttons at the same time.

Thank you so much, Dad!!!!
I'm going on a trip tomorrow (12 hours of travel) and my mp3 glitched this afternoon!!! You saved me a lot!!!
Thanks again!

Good afternoon, everyone!

Mine doesn't bug. When I connect it to my computer to charge, it charges. But the problem is that it doesn't want to play my music anymore. I think it's stuck? What should I do?

Thank you in advance.

I have had the Samsung YP-U3 for several months, and today, when I plugged it into my computer, the LED lit up, but my computer did not recognize my MP3 player. Since then, the LED on my MP3 player has stayed on even though I've unplugged it, and on top of that, it is turned off. Additionally, I can't turn it on; I tried pressing the user button and the power-play-pause button, but nothing happens.

Thank you in advance.

Hello everyone

Can you tell me where the reset button for laura&co is, please?
Otherwise, my player was frozen and the computer couldn't recognize it. By following the DDS procedure, it was unlocked.

Set the hold button to lock the keys, then press the
user and power-play-pause buttons at the same time.

I just want to say a big thank you to DAD for showing me how to turn the mp3 back on (hold, user, and play at the same time)
Thank you in advance and see you next time

But I hope it won't be for another problem that I would encounter, lol.

Hi, I have it too and I recommend that you look for the problem once you've connected it to Windows. If you still can't find anything, format it and reinstall the original files ;)

I have the same damn problem... I used the player for 5 minutes, it bugged out the same way... and then black screen... screwed... nothing, USB = nada. However, I hadn't charged the battery... but still, nothing's happening. Did my player commit suicide? Did it encounter a VBR that was too complex and decided to end its short life? Seriously though, it smells like a RAM issue, am I wrong?

me too, same problem. I pressed reset but there was some error, something about recovering, flaw, something like that. I'm fed up.

Here is my problem resolved, the player finally turned off (it used up all its energy), after which it was able to reset quietly, I plugged it back in and the computer recognized it. What I did right away (maybe more to reassure myself) was to go change the firmware specific to the MP3 player by going to the manufacturer's website.

I have a hypothesis about the cause of the bug; in the list of songs I had stored in it, there was one with an incomplete file, and I believe that's what it didn't like.

Well, good luck with your bad luck..

See you later.

Hello, my MP3 is bugging. I tried to connect it to the computer to charge it, but when I saw it wasn't working, I removed it and it got stuck on the screen that says USB Connecting. I've pressed the power off button, but it won't respond; it's frozen. I'm counting on all of you to help me fix my MP3, that would be really nice of you!!!!!!! Thanks in advance and goodbye!!!!!!!!!!

Good evening,

Same problem, the screen bugged... I simply pressed the "Reset" button (located at the back, bottom right; otherwise, see the user manual) with the tip of a mechanical pencil, and it was back up without loss of configuration or data.

Hoping to have shed some light for you...

See you later.

Hi! I also had a bug with my Samsung YP-U3.
I used the technique of: "hold + user button + play/on button
Now the screen is black and the blue "light" is still on even though my MP3 was stuck on the song (with the screen on).
Has this happened to you after trying this method?
Thank you in advance.

So I tried the method with both buttons at the same time and it worked, but if it doesn't work for you, you should try letting it discharge...

I got a Samsung YP-R1 (also known as R Mix) for my birthday. I was really happy, but two months later I changed the screen and then I tried to turn it back on, and it showed "recovering firmware" and "Samsung," but once on my screen, I didn't see any icons, just my screen, and then it turned off. Every time I turned it back on, it kept doing the same thing, even when I pressed reset, it was still the same situation.

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE
and good luck to everyone!
