Photo disappeared due to Windows bug"

Hello the community,
While I was in the process of saving a photo I had slightly modified, everything froze. I had to reset. Windows told me that an error had occurred, that it was creating an error report, and that it would restart my computer.
When I tried to reopen my photo, it had disappeared!
Details: I had edited my photo on my SD card (big mistake, I know!) and I was saving it into a folder on my desktop. I made this modification to my photo using a filter from the Nik Collection.
Do you think it’s possible to recover it? Thank you in advance for your help.

Hello,
Is it no longer present on the SD card?
In any case, data recovery is not guaranteed. For information, if the photo in question was only on RAM, in this context the RAM has been permanently erased, knowing that Windows has rebooted.

A tip in addition…
Install the software Picasa 3.9.141 (Build 259); the installation takes about three minutes, and then at the end of the installation the software will ask if you want to recover all your photos present on the hard drive, you will need to click "yes" and then all recovered photos will be available in the Picassa interface, and you will have access to all your photos via the Picassa icon on your desktop.

Hello, thank you for replying to me
I put the SD card back in my camera to go out for a photo shoot. When I reinserted my card into the Windows reader, my photo was there! I don’t know what happened but I’m really happy. Below is my photo. It’s not a photo by a famous artist, but I wanted to keep it!
Thanks again. Have a nice weekend
