Shutdown command: modify display

Hello everyone!

I’m having a small issue when I run the shutdown command on the PCs in my domain.

The command I use is: shurdown \\computername -m "Test" -t 600

The command works fine but I’d like to improve the display.
The PC shows "The system is shutting down ... bla bla bla" and below it it shows the message "Test".

Is it possible to remove this message in English to display simply my message "Test"?

Thanks!

    Hello,

    There is the option
    -c "commentaire"
which allows you to display your own text with a maximum of 127 characters.

More information on the different options.

    See you

    Hello
I just ran the test and it doesn’t work.

In fact, on my Windows 2000 Server the -c option is used to allow the user to cancel the shutdown.
The comment option is accessible via -m.

    Thanks anyway!

    See you later
