change default display

Hello everyone!

I just want to ask you how to make Windows Explorer display icons in "List" view instead of in Tiles or Thumbnails view. I think there’s just something to change in the registry and then it will be done.

lol no no you especially don’t need to touch anything in your control panel. You simply go to your workstation and in the tabs at the top you select the blue square all the way to the right. There you click on it and select what you’re interested in and there you go.

Hello,
I looked at the answers and it didn't convince me. I don't know about you, but what I wanted was to display the contents of my folders in list view by default. And I found out how to do it:
you go to the view panel, folder options, and check "Remember display settings."
There you go!
